I Want You to Leave Me Alone

Emily the Strange is apparently perpetually 13 years old, a registered trademark of Cosmic Debris, Inc., and has her own website at EmilyStrange.com. She made a blank journal, and it’s in my hands now. Apparently Emily wasn’t in a good mood when she made the journal. I wonder why. What put her in a bad mood? What puts anybody in a bad mood?

So, Bookmoochers, add your pet peeves, your complaints. Things that bug you, drive you crazy, make you furious. Write or add artwork.

You are encouraged to sign your contribution, with your BookMooch username and your real name if you wish, along with the date you completed your entry. Feel free to pass the book around to your local friends, who aren’t on BookMooch, as long as you’re confident they will get it back into the system.

After you and your fellow creatives are done adding your art, please put the journal back into this same page I’ve created for it here at BookMooch so someone else can mooch it and add to it, and when it is full, please contact [Tim] who may be reached through his account at BookMooch [http://www.bookmooch.com/m/bio/ereneta], to send the journal home.

Make it what you want

Make it what you want. This journal has ivory-coloured lined pages designed to be easy on the eyes and conducive to writing. If you want to draw on unlined paper, you will need to glue your pictures in. There is a pocket at the front and a rigid back cover. This is the first journal I have created for sharing with the rest of the BookMooch world. This journal is being tracked on the yahoo group BMJournalers. Please join this group if you intend to mooch this journal, and post to the group as well as placing the journal in your inventory once you have made your contribution to the journal. The usual timeframe for making an entry in a travelling journal is up to two weeks, then send it on to the next lucky moocher. Have fun with this! Cheers, jael

Happy Thoughts

This journal is for all of your “happy thoughts“. Journal entries can be artwork, poems, quotes…anything you want to contribute. All I ask is that your entry be filled with the things that make you happy. Whether it be material possessions, loved ones, pets, or thoughts…I want to hear about it!

Please add your BookMooch ID, the date and time of your entry, and your real name (if you wish) to your page. When you’re done, relist it so that others can add to it.

When the journal is finished, please contact me on my BookMooch account: biwasaki. Thanks!

A Woman’s Journal

A Woman’s Journal is a BMJournal dedicated to women’s words. Each page has a quotation from a woman of note with a line illustration and – through great efforts of my own – a picture of just about ever single woman. There were a few I couldn’t find a picture for but I got the majority.

I’d like for journalers to mooch this one and add their own words and/or art work to the pages either inspired by the quotations or in any way that honors the women in your life or womanhood in general. My only request is that you not cover up the actual quotation and picture of the woman. The line illustration can be covered up if you wish. Please feel free to do more than one page! It would also be great if you would sign your page or pages with either your real name or your BookMooch name.

When the book is full and complete, please send it home to me. You can contact me through my BookMooch ID of writeart. http://www.bookmooch.com/m/bio/writeart

Magnetic Poetry

Within this book will be a baggie filled with words with which you may use to create your own “magnetic poetry” . You may also decorate your pages with photo’s, art, scrapbooking, scribbles, etc…anything goes! Feel free to add some words of your own to the baggie before passing it along to the next moocher 🙂

When you are done with this journal, please re-list it on BookMooch so that project participants can follow it. When the book is full please contact me ~Lilylizard~ to make arrangements for its return.

iCrossing

This journal is full of blank pages, which will be filled by BookMoochers.

Theme: lowercase i, uppercase anything

What do you get when you cross trendy technogeek design with… anything? iDon’tknowyoutellme.
Let’s make this an improbable catalog of whimsical gadgets and doodads, sure to make the iPod toting hipster in your town green with envy.

Don’t know what to add? Add anything, stick a USB connector on it. Or those white headphones.

Also welcome are “what do you get when you cross a ___ with a ___?” jokes.

You are encouraged to sign your contribution, with your BookMooch username and your name if you wish, along with the date you completed your artwork. Feel free to pass the book around to your local friends, who aren’t on BookMooch, as long as you’re confident they will get it back into the system.
