dd is for…

I decided to create a new series of alphabetic journals when I found that quite a few of the original series are missing. Since I live in Wales where some English letters are redundant, but a number of extras are used I decided to include the Welsh sounds!
They may be more of a challenge to illustrate – some never come at the beginning even of Welsh words! Any pictures, words, drawings using with the given letter are fine. I am putting few pages in to keep them initially light for posting, and I will mooch back and add more pages and put a weight with the review date each time to give an indication for moochers.
Please keep no more than two weeks and add it to your inventory using the number shown here, or click Mooched on your home page and click Give to the right of the journal name. If you may forget to relist, then do it when you receive it and reserve it for yourself for up to 2 weeks! It is such a shame when series get broken – so check your requester is a current friend of the Bookmooch Journal Library Charity, and if they are not ask them to apply to become a friend. Only constant defaulters will be barred.

Postcards of the Netherlands ~ landscape

This is a journal of landscape Postcards of the Netherlands. They were amongst a box of some 60 years of postcards collected by members of my family. You can write, draw or comment on any of the postcards. Use the page facing the postcard. There are a few blank spaces where you may insert a postcard of your own too. From time to time I will mooch it back.
Please make sure you relist by the number shown opposite within two weeks of receipt, and whilst being prepared to send onwards promptly, only accept requests for journals from friends of the journal library. If your moocher is unknown to you, please check that they understand what journalling is and will keep journals circulating.
Enquiries and pictures for inclusion in the slideshows of the journals on their Bookmooch pages can be sent to
bmjournals@gmail.com. The need for repairs or request for me to mooch when full should be to
Gill T. tennantfamily:U.K. or
the Bookmooch Journal Library Maintainer

D for ‘mation

I decided to create this new series of alphabetic journals when I found that quite a few of the original series are missing. Since D is for was missing, this became the fourth new one created. I have used the versions of the cockney alphabet familiar to both Mark and me from our childhoods in London.
Any pictures, words, drawings beginning with the given letter are fine.
Please see the bmjl bio for information about journals and journalling.

Aliens, Ghosts and other Strange Phenomenon – Déjà vu

This is the second try for this journal – the first one disappeared! (kept by a moocher or are there other powers at work…)

Everyone has had strange experiences – whether you’ve seen a flying saucer or UFO, been visited by a ghost or just had a creepy feeling. Share your stories, photos or interpretations here with us!!

Any medium is fine – just don’t alter the work of others. You can, though, feel free to help decorate the cover and end pages. Have fun with it!!

Much work and love goes into creating a journal. It’s very sad when one becomes lost or is kept by someone other than the creator. Please make sure to keep the journal circulating! If you cannot re-list, please contact me and I’ll mooch from you.

When full, please return to jfit, (address in journal). Or contact me and I’ll mooch it!!

C for yourself

I decided to create this new series of alphabetic journals when I found that quite a few of Alicia’s original series are missing. Since I could not find that A is for, B is for and C is for were moochable for the last year, some since 2009, I started at the beginning! I have used the versions of the cockney alphabet familiar to both Mark and me from our childhoods in London.
Any pictures, words, drawings beginning with the given letter are fine.
A History Journal: The Celts

I love history and there are several eras that I find especially interesting. The Celtic history is one of those. I have always found the Celts interesting – the love of nature, beautiful artwork and manuscripts and fascinating myths. This journal is all about the Celtic Spirit. Share your thoughts in words or pictures.

Feel free to use any medium, just don’t alter anyone else’s work.

I hope you like this journal, and if you would like a copy of it, just let me know and I’ll be happy to scan it and send you a copy. Otherwise, please make sure to re-list the journal after your entry and keep the journal circulating. Much work goes into creating journals and it’s a shame when one gets lost or is kept by someone other than the creator.

When the journal is full, please return to Jenny Stafford, jfit, 2100 Manassas Drive SW, Huntsville, AL 35803, or let me know it’s full and I’ll mooch it from you!
