Now You Live in Japan* or would like to…or at least like Japanese stuff a lot

This journal is a book I’m repurposing into a journal. I mooched it awhile back on a major overseas mooching binge as I thought it might be interesting. Boy, was I wrong. It reads like a stereo tech manual. So, if you like anything about Japan or the Japanese please add your stories, drawing and pictures to this journal. You can work with what’s in here but I don’t think you’ll have much luck with that. Plan on having to paste over the existing pages.
The original book had some slight water damage and someone used a highlighter and made notes which can be covered up and aren’t the work of a previous journaler or my work. I would like to leave the index unaltered, to be edited by me when the rest of the journal is done so I have marked it off with some sticky notes.
Use as many pages as you need but don’t alter any one elses work.
Please make your entry and relist within two weeks. If you don’t mind relisting when you receive the journal (in order to speed the process up) please do.

PLEASE RELIST ONLY ON BOOKMOOCH and notify me when book is full.

Castles

Wales is said to be the castle capital of the world, with about 400 castles, of which over 100 are still standing, either as ruins or as restored buildings. The rest have returned to nature, and today consist of ditches, mounds and earthworks, often in commanding positions.

This journal is for your favourite castles, wherever they are. Write, draw, use pictures and photos to tell us about them.

You can use as many pages as you wish. I make my journals with a minumum of pages initially to keep postage costs down, but can repair, rebind and add pages as needed. Contact me through Bookmooch.
Please relist within two weeks of receipt and check the requester understands the rules too. When full I will mooch it back. Enjoy journalling and encourage others to as well.

Dance the night away

I was surprised to find there was not a journal primarily about dance, so I decided to create one. When I was running the Bookmooch charity for our Philippine members who had lost books and possessions in Typhoon Ketsana (Ondoy) there was one child who asked her mother for books about dancing. Chesca is very young still but loves dancing. This journal is for her and will be sent to her when complete.
Please make your entry about dance, ballet, hip hop, folk dancing – whatever style of dance you love.
When you have made your entry please relist within two weeks of receipt under the number given opposite. Let the journal travel anywhere but make sure you know the person requesting it is aware of the rules of journalling.
To facilitate posting I make journals with a minimum of pages and can add more and rebind and repair as necessary. Contact me through Bookmooch.
If the journal remains in your inventory more than three months please contact the shelf of the library charity (bmjl) listed as covering your area in the bmjl bio, and it will be mooched by the library.

Use as many pages as you need but don’t alter any one elses work.
Please make your entry and relist within two weeks. If you don’t mind relisting when you receive the journal (in order to speed the process up) please do.

The best days of your life…

I notice on Facebook how important are their sororities and frat houses to American college students and how many retain the friends made there for the rest of their lives. For others, school days may hold rose-tinted memories, or childhood sumer holidays, family Christmases, harvest homes on the farm, Thanksgiving get-togethers ~ days of community and belonging.
Some people prefer the solitude of the wilderness and their own company, days to be oneself and please oneself without the constraints of friends or relations.
What are the stand-out golden days in your memory? Share them with us. Enjoy reading about those of other journalers from other places and cultures.
Share the journal, too, with others unselfishly, putting it back in your inventory under the number printed opposite within two weeks of receipt, and either sending off promptly to the next requester, or being prepared to find an angel who understands Bookmooch journal ‘etiquette’ and will send it under its listed number on your behalf.
If the number is changed all the journal links here are broken and it will almost certainly be lost. see https://bookmoochjournals.com/about/
Enjoy journalling and help others enjoy it too!
The journal can be returned to me for repairs or additional pages. When complete I’ll mooch it back, and upload the pictures as a slideshow. If it stalls with you contact your local bmjl shelf and ask the shelfholder to mooch it from you!

Postcards of Lighthouses

This journal is for all new and used lighthouse postcards. Nice 4 X 6 photos would be OK also. Write on the back of the card, if there is room, any information on why you have that postcard and any interesting stories behind the card. If there’s no room to write on the card either use a sticky note and attach it to the back, or if you want, you can add your information on a piece of paper and slide it into one of the open slots. (you might want to use a stiff paper for this) Please take as many slots as you would like but don’t alter any one elses work.
Please make your entry and relist within two weeks. If you don’t mind relisting when you receive the journal (in order to speed the process up) please do.

PLEASE RELIST ONLY ON BOOKMOOCH and notify me when the journal is full.
