Being Human

My daughter and I love to journal and be creative so we’re creating a set of journals on various subjects to celebrate shared art and creativity.

This journal is blank and ready to be filled with whatever your thoughts are on being human 🙂 The first few pages have some thoughts/art about life and humanity and you’re welcome to add any art, words, stories, poems, songs, doodles or photos you wish.

Use as many or as few pages as you’d like to share your ideas.

Please don’t alter anyone else’s work.

Please make your entry and then relist here within two weeks.

Have fun!

When this journal is complete please reserve it for me and I will mooch it back from you. If you are unable to complete the journal within time or have any issues with it please contact me here and I’ll mooch it back again.

In two years this journal has only had two entries made in it. Its creator is inactive and when I returned some of her journals to her I received no acknowledgement that they were received. I am uncertain whether this is due to circumstances, moving house or some other reason. I decided to make a very long entry in it so that if it was returned it was not so empty.

As I still can get no email or snailmail reply from Bella I have decided to let this one circulate at present.

Now back in circulation.

Lavender’s Blue, Rosemary’s Green

This book is named after the lymric “Lavender’s Blue, Rosemary’s Green, When You Are King, I Shall Be Queen.” I’ve read that this comes from an old English Nursery Rhyme, although I was first introduced to it in M. M. Kaye’s “The Ordinary Princess” when I was young.
Fill this book with whatever you would like, as long as it somewhat relates to the saying. All mediums are welcome, including written entries. Fill a page spread with things that are blue or green (or lavendar – which I consider to be more purple-y), something related to Kings or Queens, or even M.M. Kaye’s book- you get the idea. Please do not alter other’s entries, and please relist and be ready to send the book to the next participant within two weeks of receiving it.
If your entry fills the book, please contact me (carlyexactly) and I will mooch it from you. If the book is damaged or need any repairs, please also contact me and I will mooch the book from you to repair. Thank you for your interest and participation!
