Our Animal Companions: What ARE They Thinking?

I think the title speaks for itself. This is a new idea for a journal I’m trying out; it’s a 2008-2009 mini-planner.

Cats do the Darnedest Things

Have a special moment to share of your pet doing something amazing, normal or just cute? Have a story you would like to share about some of the magic your cat or kitten exhibits? Have you drawn a picture of one of those moments or written a poem?

Share some of these magic cat moments with your friends at BM. International mooches welcome here 🙂 Please take no more than two weeks for your creative time and pass the journal on promptly.

When the journal is complete, please email: Artsyangel2007@gmail.com or message BM ID ArtsyAngel2007.

Have fun, create and share some of your pet’s special moments 🙂

This journal appears never to have been sent out due to the owner having a bad accident. Her account has been closed.

Animal-Human Connections

I know there are already BM Journals out there about animals/pets, but I’ve been wanting to make one for awhile, to ultimately reside back here with me. Basically this journal is about any and all animals that you’ve had in your life, whether they were actually pets, a neighbor’s pet that you played with, a horse that you rode at the nearby stables, or even a wounded bird you helped heal. Tell me the stories! Share the pictures! And please re-enter the book into the same entry when you are finished, so others can do the same. And, of course, please do not do anything to alter/cover/mark anyone else’s entries.

(Also a little heads-up, this journal has sorta thin pages, so it may be a good idea to strengthen your entry’s pages by covering them with construction paper or something.)

And of course, when this journal is full please return it to me (Heather19)

Animals of Life

This journal is dedicated to the animals of your life. Perhaps you had a favorite pet as a child. Did you raise a horse, or perhaps it was a hippopotamus? Did you feed a neighbor’s turkey, Or the neighborhood orangutan?

All I ask is to not to change anyone’s work, or write over it, or cover it up. Keep within the two week time limit, and then post it to have some one else mooch it. When this journal is full, please send it back to Debbie Hoggan (Bookmooch ID: hogganclan).

This journal had been incorrectly listed without the BMJournal tag and thus losing its identifying links. It is now back in circulation under the correct number.

Fur Babies

This journal is dedicated to all the pets who think they are people (and act like it too), as well as all the owners who treat them just like family. Please add any cute and/or funny pictures of your pet(s), commentate on their crazy habits or hilarious ‘episodes’ as I like to call them, weird nicknames and how they got them, and anything else you may think of. Please sign/date your entry before passing it on (bookmooch ID, First Name, Initials, Nickname – any signature is fine, I would like to be able to identify the separate entries).

Any type of pet is welcome (having FUR is not a requirement to participate!).

When the journal is full. Please return to Bookmooch ID: gocartgrl

Cool for Cats

All about cats. This journal is for Bookmoochers to share pictures and artwork of their pet cats, but non-owners are certainly welcome to mooch and add their cat-related artwork.

Say WOOF! Poems By and About Our Pets

One of my favorite books is Unleashed: Poems by Writer’s Dogs, edited by Amy Hempel and Jim Shepard. I see there are a couple of pet-oriented journals circulating, and I wonder if my own pets, and maybe yours, would like to get in on the act. I know my current dog at least likes the TASTE of books. I’ve started the journal with a poem my husband wrote for our dog, “A Poem for Our Dog of Little Brain.”
