Part of what makes any song great are the words that go with it. This journal is all about the lyrics – the best, the worst, the silliest, the sappiest, the most beautiful. Lyrics that move you and make you feel…anything.
Share your favourites or write your own. Use a one or two page spread and decorate it however you wish.
Return to Bookmooch User twiglyt when completed.

In this journal, I collect newspaper stories that influenced their readers in some way. To participate, just do the following:
1. Read any paper.
2. Find a story that is interesting and inspires you to some kind of action. This could be anything. Maybe you read a book review and buy the book. Maybe you read something about a person you’ve never heard of and look them up on Wikipedia. Maybe you read an article about a catastrophe and donate money. Maybe you read a really bad/good article and write a letter to the editor. Maybe you read about an event in your neighborhood and decide to attend. Maybe it was just a story that kept you thinking for some time and changed your mind or behavior in some way.
3. Put a cutting of the article in the book, together with a description of how it influenced you.
4. Cut out the date and name of the paper and glue it onto the cover.
That’s all.

I can remember being mesmerized with my grandmother’s handwriting. I was so excited the first time I had my OWN pencil! I have really had an infatuation of people’s handwriting. It is amazing to me the many different styles of script that you can encounter in one day’s mail. I want this to be a book about those many different styles of handwriting. It can be your own or on a note or letter or card you have received from someone. If you want to make a copy from a letter, magazine or book…go for it! There are also many of the decorative papers that have script on them. These make for great background papers. Write a little about your love/hate relationship with handwriting…. yours or anyone else’s. Please feel free to add artwork to any of the pages. Do as many pages as you like. Please sign the library card in the front pocket when you receive the book and date it. Most of all enjoy it! Please notify me at inkybru@sbcglobal.net when the book is finished.

Fill up a couple pages with drawings, paintings, pictures, art, souvenirs, words, or something else that indicates the last country you traveled to. If you’ve never left your home country, you should have lots of material that you can contribute about it too!
Please let me know when it is finished and I will mooch it back from you! (BM id: maiabittner , email: maia.bittner@gmail.com)

The purpose of this traveling journal is to write a fictional story. You can add illustration if you like. Once the journal is done I plan to make it available as a print on demand book. This will be under Creative Commons Attribution – Share Alike 3.0 Unported http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/. Pick up the book, read what has been written already and add what you would like. Relist the book back on BookMooch within 2 weeks and send it on to the next Moocher. Let TatianaMik know when the book is full and I’ll mooch it back from you.
-Tatiana
This journal was mooched in 2008. Personal stuff intervened and it seems now to be mislaid.

This is one of two traveling bookmooch journals that I intend to give to a friend once it is completed. She is a recently separated mother of two who just lost all her possessions and pet in an apartment fire. I’m hoping these will provide her with some small happiness and humor as she rebuilds her life.
My friend really likes pirates and that is the theme of this journal.

The last moocher to receive this is inactive, unresponsive and no longer at the address given. LOST

This is one of several “neon” journals that I picked up on sale at the local drug store. They are small in size – the pages are about the size of an index card and are unlined and brightly colored in the theme of each of these “color” journals. The theme of this journal is “blue.” It is a celebration of all things literally and figuratively “blue” – blue moods, blue-notes, events that occur once in a blue moon…all things “blue” are welcome.

The theme of this journal is hot-hunky guys. Here is permission to revisit your teenage years and decorate the pages much the way you would the inside of your highschool locker or bedroom walls – with all the hotties you used to obsess over, and perhaps the ones you secretly still do. My friend is particularly fond of Johnny Depp and Kenneth Branagh, but feel free to add your personal favorites.

This journal was stalled in 2008, with a moocher who has been inactive for about a year. Mailed March 2011

A quote about a smile is on every spread in this little notebook. Choose whichever quote you like best. On your spread (two pages facing each other) respond to the quote. Collage your feelings. Illustrate how a smile makes you feel. Write about how it applies to your life.
Please use both your pages and just those two pages for that quote. If you want to do two quotes (two spreads) you can.
