Some journals have been returned by relatives of a Bookmoocher who died but unfortunately this one appears to have been lost, as it was not amongst those returned.

Oceans of Life

My 11 year old granddaughter has requested that I make this journal for her. She absolutely loves anything that deals with the ocean. This journal is called OCEANS OF LIFE. There are so many species in the oceans; there are some that have never been seen. My granddaughter wants to learn all about as many different types that you can manage to find on the internet, books, or whatever. She would love to see pictures and read stories about them. So please, take the time and add a couple of entries, with poem, prose, pictures, drawings or whatever your heart desires.

This is your time to share with your Bookmooch friends what is underneath the seas and oceans!
All I ask is not to change anyone’s work, write over it, or cover it up. Keep within the two week time limit, and then post it to have someone else mooch it. When this journal is full, please send it back to: Debbie Hoggan Bookmooch ID: hogganclan

Unfortunately this journal has been kept by an inactive moocher and all attempts to recover it so far have failed.

Letters to Grandma

This is a traveling journal to be passed around BookMooch members. My Grandma is in her late 80’s and is in a nursing home. During an arts & crafts class they covered a journal & she gave it to my mom. My mom thought it would be fun to pass it around BookMooch and would like everybody to write a letter and/or story to my Grandma and when it is full she will give the journal back to Grandma to read. Take as many pages as you need and please try to pass this one around quickly, as Grandma is getting up there in age. It is a very light journal (only about 50 pages or so) so this one might even be cheaper to mail via first class. My Grandma’s name is Lahoma (she is Indian) and she loves to read but she has a hard time seeing so please try to write (or type) big & clear. Thank you for participating in this journal. When it is full please contact me so I can mooch it back, BM ID: mspeegle Thank you!

Horsin’ Around

This is a bookmooch journal I started 7/1/08 that is about all things horses. Horses, ponies, unicorns, winged horses, barns – anything that has to do with a four-legged animal that whinnies is fair game! Pictures, drawings and text are all strongly encouraged! Get creative!

Please do not alter anyone else’s work! Also, please keep your time with this journal limited to 2 weeks (standard journaling). When you are finished with this journal, please post it back to this page so others may mooch it and contribute as well!

When this journal has finished its course, please send it back to me. Or reserve it for me and I will mooch it back from the last person.
Thank you and happy journaling!

And the Army Goes Rolling Along!

This bookmooch journal was started by my on 7/1/08. Add bits, blurbs and pictures (scrapbook style) to honor a soldier! It can be someone you are related to, someone in the news, or a friend of yours! Get creative! Add pictures of when the soldier had long hair and another of the buzzcut! Add a soldier from the Civil War, or the Iraq War! Robert E. Lee or Tommy Franks! You are not bound by a timeframe, the only tie has to be the Army and it has to be a person. Please limit yourself to 2 adjacent pages per moocher, and one soldier per moocher.

Standard Rules – Do not alter another person’s work. After two weeks in your posession, please list it for mooching at the same page it was created.

Please feel free to honor a fallen soldier, but due to the sensitive nature of this context, no anti-war propaganda. This is not about right or wrong, war or no war. This is about our soldiers.

If you receive the journal with anti-war propaganda, please either remove the propaganda or cover it up as best you can. This is the one exception to Do Not Alter clause.

When the journal is full, please send it back to me. You can do this either by emailing me for instructions or reserving it for me and I will mooch it back.

Thanks! Happy journaling!

Know Name: a journal about book, movie, tv, and play characters

When I mooch a book, rent a movie, turn on a TV show, or go to see a play, I am ten times more likely to choose one with an oddly named character than one with a simple name. So I created this journal where everyone can share their favorite strangely named characters.

Guidelines:
Take one to two pages to tell the name of the character, the book, movie, tv show, or play they are featured in, the actor/actress who plays them (when applies), why you liked them as a character, what do you think makes their name interesting, and a picture of the media in which they are featured (ex. movie, book, etc.) or a picture of the actor who portrays them.
Doodling, other info, and creativity are encouraged!

While guidelines are there to give you ideas and are not mandatory I would greatly appreciate if you would follow the following rules:

– Only take 1-2 weeks to make your entry
– Do not damage or add to anyone else’s entries in anyway shape or form.
– When you have finished with the journal please re-list it on BookMooch, or if you know of someone who might be interested in putting in an entry tell that person and reserve the journal for him or her.
– No repeats! I am sorry if Ephram (Gregory Smith) from Everwood is your favorite character, I have already entered him in the book so please pick someone new, I am sure you have more than one favorite!
– Include your name, your BookMooch ID, and if desired a picture of you.

When the journal is full let me know and I will mooch it back home.
Thanks for contributing to this journal and I hope you have fun making your entry!
Also I am running low on ribbon, and I thought it would be cool if everyone who made an entry tied a string or ribbon to the spiral of the book, not mandatory, just a fun thought.

Nesting Newlyweds

This is a journal started on 6/21/08. Hopefully you can help me and my husband out by giving us some advice on being married. Anyone can write in this- we appreciate all views. Tell us what you wish you had known, what you ignored from others but wish you hadn’t. We want to hear the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Please keep no longer than 2 weeks, relist on bookmooch using the BM number and return to auburnkelly (bookmooch id) when it is full.

Thanks!
