Pirate Booty

BMJournal: Pirate Booty is a celebration of all things “piratey”. Make an ode to your favorite pirate. Discuss your opinion on the Pirates of the Caribbean movies/characters/paraphernalia. Maybe you dressed up as a pirate once and would like to share it in all its splendor. Let your imagination lead you to the booty, savvy? Media can include pictures, text, paintings, drawings, anything that you see fit. Remember to protect your work. I suggest placing clear packaging tape over artwork to keep it intact. Do not feel limited to one page for your entry.

Please do not change or alter anyone else’s entries and keep within the two week mooch window time limit. After you are finished with your entry, please put the journal back into this same page I’ve created for it here at BookMooch so someone else can mooch it.

When the journal is full and complete, please contact me (BM username: savvy) and I will mooch it back.

Thanks, and happy pillaging!!

The Art of Dining Fine

We all know about “fine dining”. Getting dressed in your finest clothes, eating at an expensive restaurant that you can only afford once a year (or years!), displaying your finest manners, negotiating a confusing wine list, waiters with a very high opinion of themselves, etc.

But what is “dining fine”? Well, “dining fine” is when you get together with friends and/or family in your favorite local restaurant/grill/diner/café/etc. These are the kind of places where you enjoy good food and drink, and most importantly, make great memories.

There have always been one or two favorite places where I get together for a meal with friends. Maybe it isn’t even the food but that extra special something that draws you back again and again.

Share that special place with us. What makes it a favorite? Feel free to share pictures, menus, memories, anything at all that you want to share! Just please don’t change anyone’s entries, and please keep this journal no more than two weeks, then pass it on.

When the journal is full, please send it back to Terri White. Contact me at bookmooch id terrilee.

Some journals have been returned by relatives of a Bookmoocher who died but unfortunately this one appears to have been lost, as it was not amongst those returned.

Home Sweet Home

This is a Bookmooch traveling journal titled Home Sweet Home – its actually an altered Household Log Book. Use this journal to illustrate or describe your perfect fantasy home – maybe it’s a treehouse, or a castle, or perhaps it’s a space station… there are no limits.

Memorials of Life

This book is very special to me. Sometimes in one’s life something happens that leaves a lasting scar upon your soul. For me, it was 9/11. The tragedy of that day will forever haunt me, And the loss of our friend Colleen L. Fraser, in flight 93, Was almost too much to bear.

There are other experiences people have in their lives that also leave that deep scar within them. The death of John. F. Kennedy, Hurricane Wilma, The Indonesia earthquake, 3 mile Island, and more.

I dedicate this journal to all of our friends here on BOOKMOOCH. Share with your bookmooch friends what experience has left that lasting scar, And tell them how it has effected you in your everyday life. Then, try to share how that has helped you to see life differently now, and how you can move on.

All I ask is not to change anyone’s work, write over it, or cover it up. Keep within the two week time limit,  and then post it to have some one else mooch it.

When this journal is full, please send it back to Debbie Hoggan (Bookmooch ID: hogganclan)

Creatures of the night: A journal dedicated to all things that lurk in the evening

Have a passion for vampires? Witches and warlocks who do their bidding under dark skies? Maybe you’re into zombies (who strangely I always see in the evening and not ever out in the day). Maybe you like elves and goblins. Howl at the moon anytime lately? This journal is for you!

Take a page or two or three and tell us why you like your creature of the night. Do you have a favorite movie, book, TV show, video game, poem, etc about said creature? Tell us about it! Anything goes so long as it fits in with the ‘darker’ genre.

Remember take no more than 2 weeks for the journal. Please keep up with the Bookcrossing Journaling if you can. This is a gift for my sister and if you could write her a note in the journal and on Bookcrossing. Her name is Sarah and she rocks.
