For the Birds

This journal was a baby memory book that I’m repurposing into a bird journal. Please add your thoughts, pictures and drawings about anything and everything that pertains to birds. You can add to what is on the page or cover all or part of the page with paper.

Take as many pages as you want but don’t alter anyone elses work.
Please make your entry and relist within two weeks. If you don’t mind relisting when you receive the journal (in order to speed the process up) please do.

PLEASE RELIST ONLY ON BOOKMOOCH by entering the BMID number listed in the front of the journal to the Add tab ISBN block (this is case sensitive so use capital letters) and notify me when the journal is full or needs repair.

Your Birthday November 30

This is a BORING birthday book for my youngest daughter’s birth date that I am turning into a journal. I know that BM journallers can make it way more interesting. I would like this book to basically be about the same thing – but with more pizazz. Anything on the month of November, celebrating birthdays, Thanksgiving, other November holidays or days of interest, or the zodiac sign Sagittarius are appropriate. Also, feel free to make your entry using anything that’s on the original page or cover the page with a piece of paper. Use as many pages as you would like, just don’t alter anyone elses work.

Please make your entry and relist within two weeks. If you don’t mind relisting when you receive the journal (in order to speed the process up) please do.

PLEASE RELIST ONLY ON BOOKMOOCH by entering the BMID number listed in the front of the journal in the ISBN block and notify me when the journal is full or needs repair.

It’s a Funny!

I found this old Gary Larson calendar and thought it would make a great journal
for funnies!! You can include your favorite comic, jokes, riddles or pictures –
whatever makes you laugh. Sometimes that’s all it takes to make me feel better on a bad day – a nice hearty chuckle!
Much work and love go into making journals to share. Please make sure to keep journals in circulation. If you cannot re-list, please send the journal to me. It’s very sad when one disappears or is kept by someone other than the creator.

When full, please return to Jenny Stafford. Or, let me know it’s full and I’ll mooch it from you!!

Have fun!

Emotion: An Artistic Experiment Bookmooch Journal

This is an altered book with the theme of emotions. Each person will contribute to the book. It may be turned into a ‘zine after it comes home.

This journal was created in January 2009, mooched twice and then lost without having been listed here. It has now been recovered and is now back in circulation.

Yoga

This yoga-themed booklet was also one of the 1001 Journals. It returned home to me and is now ready to navigate through the Bookmooch community. Anything yoga-themed goes. Please do as many pages as you like, responding to the images and text already in the book. Please do not alter someone else’s work, unless it is a page with just a glued in headline…then you can just go for it!

Unfortunately this journal seems to have been kept by an inactive moocher, who marked it as sent, and all attempts to recover it so far have failed.

It’s Not Easy Being Green *A BMJournal About Jim Henson’s Muppets

This journal is being created from the Book “It’s Not Easy Being Green and other things to consider”. You can cover up the existing pages or work with what’s there. It’s up to you because I have worked on the 7 – 8 pages that I didn’t want covered up. And, the first 8 pages of the book are set aside for you to add any random green thing you would like… they are a collaborative effort. Just don’t cover up what’s already there.
The rest of the book is open for all your thoughts, stories, pictures, drawings whatever you would like to add about the muppets.
Please take as many pages as you want but don’t alter any one elses work. Feel free to journal your favorite muppets, shows, sayings, guest stars, movies that they appear in…whatever you would like.
Please make your entry and relist within two weeks. If you don’t mind relisting when you receive the journal (in order to speed the process up) please do.

PLEASE RELIST ONLY ON BOOKMOOCH and notify me when book is full.

Return of the Goddess

I turned this old 1993 engagement calender into a BookMooch journal. I love the variety of images from many cultures that feature female images. Please add anything you are inspired to. Please return to me when this journal is full. Enjoy!

A Folder Journal

This is not so much a book, but a little accordion folder. Each fold has a small envelope for your entry. You can put anything into the little  envelope you want   just don’t make it too bulky so that the folder doesn’t get too big! You can add small objects or include words, pictures or anything you d like. Just please don’t alter someone else s entry!

Much work and love goes into creating new journals  it so sad when one goes missing or is kept by someone other than the creator. Please pass journals along!!!!

When full, please return to: jfit, Jenny Stafford.

Helping Miffy Dance

Miffy Dances is a cute little book with a nice story and pictures. I’d like to add to the pictures in the book – Miffy is really plain. You can do whatever you’d like. You can cover the words, too – I’m not too picky. Use your imagination! You can use words, pictures or any medium you’d like. Please don’t alter someone else’s picture!

Much work and love goes into creating new journals – it’s so sad when one goes missing or is kept by someone other than the creator.

Please pass the journals along!!!!

When full or if you just get tired of holding onto it, please return to: jfit, Jenny Stafford.

BMJournal Babies and Babyhood

We’re new parents (our little girl is nine weeks old as I put together this journal), and as new journallers too I was surprised to find there wasn’t already a BMJournal on the topic. We’ve all been babies, after all, and most of us have occasionally come across them since then as well, as siblings, parents, other relatives, family friends, professionals, neighbours, or even just fellow commuters!

So, thoughts, memories, advice, pictures or however inspiration strikes are all requested and welcomed. I’ve pulled out half the pages in this, that were parenting advice from Huggies (this notebook was practically the only thing in our ‘goodie pack’ from a bunch of baby goods companies that we kept) in Hebrew), leaving just 24 pages to be filled in, so I’m hoping this will be a fairly quick journal to complete and come home (to Kate in Israel/kaec). Feel free to take up more than one page, but please don’t alter the work of others.
Please pass the journal on, making your entry within two weeks and posting on promptly. You can advertise its availability on the BookMooch Journals forum:
