Vampires, An Owner’s Manual

Illustrate, glamorize and wax poetic on your favorite vampire myth, legend or fact. Pick your vampire from anywhere in the world, and spin us a yarn in pictures and/or words. An “Idiot’s Guide” to being a vampire, if you will. 😀

This is a hardcover notebook.

This journal was marked as either lost in the post or the (now long inactive) moocher never marked it as received.

Creatures of the night: A journal dedicated to all things that lurk in the evening

Have a passion for vampires? Witches and warlocks who do their bidding under dark skies? Maybe you’re into zombies (who strangely I always see in the evening and not ever out in the day). Maybe you like elves and goblins. Howl at the moon anytime lately? This journal is for you!

Take a page or two or three and tell us why you like your creature of the night. Do you have a favorite movie, book, TV show, video game, poem, etc about said creature? Tell us about it! Anything goes so long as it fits in with the ‘darker’ genre.

Remember take no more than 2 weeks for the journal. Please keep up with the Bookcrossing Journaling if you can. This is a gift for my sister and if you could write her a note in the journal and on Bookcrossing. Her name is Sarah and she rocks.

Vampires – The Allure of the Undead

Vampires – The Allure of the Undead is a BMJournal dedicated to pictures, drawings, fiction, poetry, and any other creative endeavor related to vampires. Are you frightened of or fascinated by these creatures? Who are your favorite vampires? Why do you find them so alluring? What is your take on the vampire mythos? This is the place to talk about it! Decorate a few pages with your thoughts.

Please do not change or alter anyone else’s entries and keep within the two week mooch window time limit. After you are finished with your entry, please put the journal back into this same page I’ve created for it here at BookMooch so someone else can mooch it.

When the journal is full and complete, please contact me (BM username: thegretchen) and I will mooch it back.

Thanks, and have fun!!

Vampriphilia (Birthday Books Vol 3 of 41)

Hypnotic eyes at your bedroom window. Vampires are the
sexiest of movie monsters. Put your phantasm-tic art
fantasy to paper. Why not paint Anita Blake surrounded
by her harem of preternatural hotties? Collage a
shrine to Bram Stroker’s creature. Pencil a portrait
of your favorite Masquerade player. Ink a Nosferatu.
Queen of the Damned? Carmilla? Elisabeth Bathory? What
dark lord/lady will you draw from the “dark shadows”
of your imagination? Sexy, silly or scary… surprise
me with your vamp fandom. (Text within art okay but NO
fiction or poetry!) Thanks/fangs and good luck to all
my fellow vampriphiliacs and vampriphiles out there.

When the pages of this journal are filled, please
return it to bookmooch user: zenfish. Thank you.

RE: Birthday Books vol 1-41. I was very excited to
read about the bookmooch journal project as I usually
celebrate my birthday with art/performance art madness
related to the number in question. In August I will be
a delightful 41 years wild. I have purchased 41 blank
journals and am giving each individual themes. When
all the wayward art has winged its way home to me, I
look forward to a local celebration to share and enjoy
these books with friends.

It appears either this journal was never issued or it was retained by its first mooche inactive for more than two years.
