Colours, that are but skin-deep: in the pink.

The title of this journal comes from a well-known phrase “in the pink” meaning in good health or good heart. The first part of the title is a quotation from Matthew Henry (1662-1714) from his Commentaries, Genesis:’Many a dangerous temptation comes to us in gay, fine colours, that are but skin-deep.’

Pink is a colour that inspires love and hate. I can remember my younger son refusing to wear anything with pink in it, but his niece wanted an entirely pink room when she was little. Please draw, paint, stick pictures, write poetry or just give us your ideas about pink. This website may give you some ideas.

Please keep to the normal two weeks for making your entry and relisting this journal with the number on the inside front cover.
