Animal Postcards

This is a new journal idea I’m trying out. The journal is made up of postcards with animal pictures – both drawings and photos; some are funny, some are cute. When you get the journal, pick one postcard that speaks to you and write on the back of it why you chose it. Tell us why you like the picture, what it reminds you of or how you it inspired you.A few rules for journaling:1) You can use more than one card, but don’t alter anyone else’s work.2) I suggest you relist this journal on your inventory immediately after marking it received (since you’ll already be on Bookmooch anyway :)) – this will make it available as soon as possible for other moochers, and remind you to make an entry. Don’t worry about time pressure – you can always tell a moocher that it will take you a little longer to send out their book.3) When the book is full, please contact me (Hannah; BMID: hanhel), and I will mooch it back from you. If you are having trouble getting the book back out to someone, feel free to contact me as well, I will try to find a solution.

The Compiled Wisdom of Only the Very Wisest BMJournal-ers

This journal is the “BMJournal – The Compiled Wisdom of Only the Very Wisest BMJournal-ers”This is an Altered Book that is only 25 or so pages. The pages are glued together so they are THICK, you can get wild and crazy with this book. It was a book about words of wisdom for graduates, heck, we all need words of wisdom. Use the words on the page …or not! I don’t care. Give me words of wisdom, people of wisdom, books of wisdom, paintings of wisdom, wisdom teeth—whatever. Get inspired and do something that will change the course of history. Have Fun! – Just remember to be VERY WISE.
Don’t keep it more than a week or two. It will get around quickly, and be inexpensive to mail also.
Get wild and crazy! I don’t care. My journals are always rated “R”. Just have fun. Get as creative as you would like, add a drawing, write a poem or a thought. Anything and everything goes! From collages, photos, ACEO, altered art, scrapbooking, & quotes, to anything else that “floats your boat”. Please stick to one to two pages (a double spread) in the journal per person- I would like as many people as possible to share! (But if you have ever seen a journal I have done, you know how I get around that!) I left the front & back covers incomplete, so everyone can add one or two items as a collective artwork.
Please be respectful. Don’t write on the same page of someone else’s contribution, and don’t change or add to anyone’s entry. (Except, of course, for the cover art work.) Just be courteous of others. If you feel up to it, share something about you…as little or as much as you want! It would be nice to put your name, state or country, date your work & use your bookmooch info. If you do Artist Trading Cards send one to me via my contact info in the book and I will gladly send you one of mine.
Please, when this book is full return it to me by listing it on bookmooch and I will mooch it back from you. Or mailing it to me. Thanks!
