Playing House

This journal received its name from a verse in the Jack Johnson song “Do You Remember”:

Do you remember

When we first moved in together?

The piano took up the living room

You’d play me boogie woogieI played you love songs

You’d say we’re playing house

Now you still say we are

My fiancé and I have been living together for more than two years but sometimes I feel like we’re still “playing house”, rather than doing “the real grown-ups thing”. I’m looking for stories of your first experiences living together as a young couple. How is/was it for you? How does/did your relationship change? Do/did you see a new side of each other all of a sudden? What do/did you argue about? Is/was living together exactly like you expected? What would you tell your children if they were moving in with their partner for the first time?
A few rules for journaling:

1) Use as many pages as you want for your entry, but don’t alter anyone else’s work.

2) I suggest you relist this journal on your inventory immediately after marking it received (since you’ll already be on Bookmooch anyway :)) – this will make it available as soon as possible for other moochers, and remind you to make an entry. Don’t worry about time pressure – you can always tell a moocher that it will take you a little longer to send out their book.

3) When the book is full, please contact me (Hannah; BMID: hanhel), and I will mooch it back from you. If you are having trouble getting the book back out to someone, feel free to contact me as well, I will try to find a solution.

Roald is my Dahl-ing.

This journal is for you to celebrate Roald Dahl and his writing, whether adult or children’s books.

Please do not alter the work of others, and pass the journal on by relisting under the number shown on the inside front cover, keeping to the maximum two week entry time before relisting.

Out of the books

This journal is meant to be filled with interesting/unique/funny/sad/true/puzzling/meaningful/inspiring quotes from books. It doesn’t matter if your quotes are just one line or a page, just make sure to mention the title and author of the book. Feel free to illustrate your quotes artfully, or to also explain why you chose those specific passages.A few rules for journaling:1) Use as many pages as you want for your entry, but don’t alter anyone else’s work.2) I suggest you relist this journal on your inventory immediately after marking it received (since you’ll already be on Bookmooch anyway :)) – this will make the journal available as soon as possible for other moochers, and remind you to make an entry.
