In this book anything goes as long as it’s black and white. You can tell us about your day, draw a picture, do a collage, or anything else you can think of. The only thing I ask is that when you’ve finished your spread you sign the cover. Please include your BM name, your real name if you feel comfortable leaving it, which spread is yours and the dates you worked on it.

An ‘Eco-Diary’ handmade in India, this beautiful recycled cotton fabric journal is completely wood-free. Who are you? We know each other, briefly, in paragraphs and short blurbs, on the bookmooch site, but who are you? Tell us a little about yourself–art, writing, a giant smiley face sticker–as you see yourself and as others see yourself. Is there a huge difference or no difference at all?

This is a hand made journal/blank book I purchased through online artistic friends. The title comes from the cover created by the book artist. In the spirit of the journal’s title, I’d like this book to be about bending, breaking, living outside of, and/or around the “rules” – whatever we perceive the “rules” to be.

The title, The Power of Beauty, inspired the idea for an altered book based on the theme of Beauty and all that it means to different people. I began to alter the book several years ago but abandoned the project for various reasons. Now is the perfect time to release it into the hands of other Creative Souls around the world to see what Beauty means to them. The book is all text so there is plenty of opportunity for major alteration and/or lots of Found Poetry.
