Nature will have her course

This is an interactive BM journal, an ‘altered book’ having started life as an unused 1995 Amateur Gardening diary. It has a colour photo for each month with a page opposite each picture of description or explanation by a gardening expert, and a section of 6 pages of month by month hints at the end. The rest is available for use as a celebration of all things ‘green’ and gardenish by participating BookMoochers.

Please relist within 2 weeks of receipt if possible and do not alter anyone else’s contributions. Beyond that I am happy for it to be filled in in random order wherever you wish to add your contribution, using as few or many pages as you wish. If you wish to upload images of the completed pages to BMJournals files that would be great.

Green Squares

Write a note, add a story, add your artwork. Decorate some pages. Only one rule: somewhere on each page of your contribution, include a green square.

You are encouraged to sign your contribution, with your BookMooch username and your name if you wish, along with the date you completed your artwork. Feel free to pass the book around to your local friends, who aren’t on BookMooch, as long as you’re confident they will get it back into the system.

After you and your fellow creatives are done adding your art, please put the journal back into this same page I’ve created for it here at BookMooch so someone else can mooch it and add to it, and when it is full, please contact [Tim] who may be reached through his account at BookMooch [http://www.bookmooch.com/m/bio/ereneta], to send the journal home.

Green Man/Earth Mother (Birthday Books Vol 38 of 41)

When the pages of this journal are filled, please return it to bookmooch user: zenfish. Thank you.

RE: Birthday Books vol 1-41. I was very excited to read about the bookmooch journal project as I usually celebrate my birthday with art/performance art madness related to the number in question. In August I will be a delightful 41 years wild. I have purchased 41 blank journals and am giving each individual themes. When all the wayward art has winged its way home to me, I look forward to a local celebration to share and enjoy these books with friends.
