The Internet has given us so many things – the ability to keep up with friends around the world, download movies quickly free of charge, and also… Internet Memes. The term Internet meme (pronounced /ˈmiːm/, rhyming with “cream”[1]) is used to describe a concept that spreads via the Internet.[2] The term is a reference to the concept of memes, although the latter concept refers to a much broader category of cultural information (definition from Wikipedia).

On 8th March International Women’s Day is celebrated, so I began to create this journal. This is a place to celebrate a woman who has had a profound influence on you – please restrict your entry to one woman per journaller.
The UN global theme for 2011 IWD 2011: Equal access to education, training and science and technology: Pathway to decent work for women. The 2011 aims of the UK, Welsh Assembly Government: Bridging the Generational Gap.
Write about a woman you know or knew whilst growing up, or someone ina field of interest who inspired you. Whether it be Marie Curie or the school crossing patrol lady just write about who and what inspired you about this person or what they achieved.
Please remember time and effort are invested in journals by their creator and journallers. Send the journal onwards by keeping within the two weeks guideline for making an entry, relisting and sending promptly. Everyone makes lists. It’s a good way to keep up with what you need to do or remember what’s important. This journal is for you to make your own list – favorite books, the ingredients you need for your favorite recipe, the items you bought for that great party, or even the top ten reasons you don’t like your in-laws (although I really do like my in-laws!!) You can use words, pictures or any medium you’d like. Please don’t alter someone else’s list!Much work and love goes into creating new journals – it’s so sad when one goes missing or is kept by someone other than the creator. On this St. David’s day Gwyl Dewi Sant, the first of March, I decided to make a journal about celebrations. As St. Patrick’s day is celebrated by Irish around the world, so St. David’s day is celebrated by the Welsh.
Celebration may refer to:Party, a social gathering or celebrationFestival, a community gathering to celebrate something in particularThe observance of a feast day or holidayThe celebration of the EucharistA Southeast Alaska Native cultural event.
Write about a day to remember in your life, and illustrate with photos, pictures, poems as you like. Do not alter any one else’s work, and please keep to the maximum of two weeks before relisting and sending onwards.

This little journal is full of Christmas themed stamped images and also has blank pages if you have any of your own you wish to add. You don’t have to own any rubber stamps to participate – there are plenty of images already added to inspire you!
Feel free to do whatever you wish with the images; you can colour them, alter them, add art, words, poetry, stories, whatever the images inspire you to do, or of course use your own stamps if you have them. Use as many or few pages as you want, but please do not alter anyone else’s work.
This is a pass along journal. By mooching this journal you are agreeing to add your entry and relist the journal on the original listing within two weeks.

This is a small photograph album that will hold a 4”x 6” photo or in this case a 4”x 6” copy of the WONDERFUL, FABULOUS RECIPE THAT YOU LOVE.
Feel free to add a picture of your favorite food or your family eating it. I think that would make it even more fun!I do cook & I have a lot of cookbooks, but I have found that the recipes that people use all the time and DON’T have written down are usually the best. I want the recipes that your family requests and would eat every week.Put your email addy in the back of the book and when the book is returned to me I will not only post the completed journal on the site, but I will email all the recipes to you.
Please be respectful of others. Don’t change or add or remove anyone’s entry. Leave email contact in case someone has a question about your recipe. If you feel up to it, share something about you…as little or as much as you want! It would be nice to put your name, state or country, date your work & use your bookmooch info. If you do Artist Trading Cards send one to me via my contact info in the book and I will gladly send you one of mine.
