Add pictures, text, stories, descriptions of Hoffnung’s work, or things inspired by it, anywhere there are unused pages. Please leave the original cartoons and the work of others unaltered.
Please relist within two weeks only on Bookmooch by the number given here, and pass on promptly when requested. Much time and thought goes into creating journals, it is sad when journals get stalled or lost.

“Through A Glass, Alcohol — A journal of stories through drink” is a journal that starts off with a label or a marker of an alcohol and moves on to the story associated with that particular bottle of beer, wine, homebrew or spirit.
Alcohol is a part of many of our stories. Some times it’s no more than in the background, a casual observer of our social nights. Some times it plays a more sinister role, some times it enables.
Tell the story of your bottle, of your night.
From the journal:
“This journal is meant to be a pairing of labels — beer, wine, hard liquor, whatever one drinks — and the stories that they were a part of. Sometimes the stories are mundane. Sometimes sad, sometimes evil, sometimes great, sometimes unbelievable.
Tell us a story!”
When this journal is complete please reserve it for me (and notify me) (userID: wheelerc) and I will mooch it back from you. If you are unable to complete the journal within time or have any issues with it please contact me here and I’ll mooch it back again.

Goodreads, on which site I review the books I read, had a new ‘game’ today, which involved casting the characters from your favourite book, and having the results published on your Facebook page. Since it involved giving them access to your Facebook settings, and possibly tampering with the privacy settings one has dictated there, I didn’t do it.
However it occurred to me it would make a fun journal, and I decided to cast the Bookmoochers involved in the new Bookmooch Journal Library Charity as the characters from Winnie the Pooh and The House at Pooh Corner. These are the original A.A. Milne characters not the Disney cartoons, and have the characteristics of the original characters.
Cast your Bookmooch special friends as the characters from one of your favourite books, and reserve it for them for a few days, so they can participate too if they wish.
Whether they are Journallers or not, please ensure they understand journalling and relist under the number opposite within two weeks of receipt. The BMJ Library Charity (id bmjl) and its six bookshelves, have been set up to try to recover missing and stalled journals, so please don’t add to our workload!
Have fun!

This journal is for things that make you go “Wow” in nature, whether these are shown as photographs, drawings, or descriptions or stories of natural phenomena.
I have chosen to use a photograph my younger son took a few years ago for the front cover, and one my husband took a few days ago for the back cover. We are lucky enough to live in beautiful surroundings, with nature right up to, sometimes inside, the doors. But wonders of nature come in all sizes and forms, so interpret the title as you wish.
Journallers take a lot of time and effort to create journals for others to enjoy. Please pass this one on promptly by relisting it by its BM number on Bookmooch. Check out the person who requests it fom you understands about journalling, or refer them to the urls I give on the bookmark enclosed here before accepting the request.
If more pages, or repairs are needed or you have any queries please email me at tennantfamiy:UK on Bookmooch or contact bmjournals@gmail.com When full, mail me and I will mooch it back. Photos or scans can be sent to bmjournals@gmail to be added to the slideshow on the journal site.

My journal is about an annual trip my daughter and I take to NYC. We spend about 5 days (4 hours each day) in the park and the rest going to Broadway musicals. I would love my journal to be filled with other “Mommie and Me” trips and/or Central Park fun! Art or words…

This is a journal dedicated to weddings. I am getting married in a few months and I’ve been reading a lot of wedding books. Obviously this journal won’t help me to plan my own wedding but I would still like to read about your experience. Tell me about your wedding, what you think is important to consider, mistakes you made – or anything else you would like to share. Express yourself in words or pictures, any contribution is welcome.
A few rules for journaling:
1) Use as many pages as you want for your entry, but don’t alter anyone else’s work.
2) I suggest you relist this journal on your inventory immediately after marking it received (since you’ll already be on Bookmooch anyway :)) – this will make the journal available as soon as possible for other moochers, and remind you to make an entry. Don’t worry about time pressure – you can always tell a moocher that it will take you a little longer to send out their book.
3) When the book is full, please contact me (Hannah; BMID: hanhel), and I will mooch it back from you. If you are having trouble getting the book back out to someone, feel free to contact me as well, I will try to find a solution.
