My younger son, Kieren, has always had a fascination with the sort of animals and insects that normally make people shudder, so I decided to gather pictures of slugs and snails and creepy crawlies into a book he had labeled Kieren’s Notebook.

Please remember that he likes these animals, so this is a place to appreciate their design and beauty, not recount horror stories!
