Twitter is an online service for people to communicate through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing?
This little journal is like Twittering, except it’s done the old fashioned way, with pen and paper rather than a keyboard, and through snail mail, not cyberspace. Mooch the journal. Jot down a brief thought… perhaps something new you learned today, something that’s on your mind, note what you’re doing at that particular moment, a funny joke you heard. Whatever is on top of your head. Don’t put too much thought into it. Write what first comes to your mind and then pass it on. Feel free to have others “tweet” in the journal before you send it off for the next Moocher. Sign your entry, include name, BM ID, your location and the date.
Twitter.com limits entried to 140 characters in a message, so we’ll use that as a guide, too. As soon as you receive this journal, add it to your inventory. Since it’s not an extensive entry, it shouldn’t take long to make your entry. Feel free to add a couple entries, but do not take up more than one page. Keep it clean. G rated. Do not change anyone’s entry. When the journal is full, please email me through BookMooch or email me at mbpta@comncast.net and I will mooch it back from you.
