My Earliest Memory.

I’ve often thought that I need to write down things for my children about my childhood. I’m very interested in the early lives of my parents and grandparents, but no one has really passed down any stories or history. I’d love to hear about YOUR earliest memory – we all have one! You can use any medium you’d like – just make sure not to alter anyone else’s entry. When the journal is full, please let me know and I’ll mooch it! Jenny Stafford, jfit.

Dark, night and the witching hour.

This journal celebrates all aspects of night. It follows on from the first journal: “dawn, daybreak, sunrise” and the second “Day: morning, mid-day, afternoon” and the third “Dusk, sunset, gloaming”. Poetry, prose, art work, photos, stories, memories, facts…
Please make your entry wherever you please, and in whatever form you like.
Please read my journaling guidelines in my bio, and be willing to comply with them.
Make your entry within two weeks,
Re-list and re-send promptly, where-ever it is requested.
Notify me so I can mooch it back if it is completed, needs repairs or needs extra pages added.
I try to keep my journals light for economic posting, and can rebind with extra pages and binders as needed.
I add the weight to my condition notes, so if you think you can’t afford to resend it you know before requesting. This will need altering as extra material is added, please!

Winnie the Pooh.

To be such a little bear, Winnie the Pooh packs a lot of fun and wisdom. Do you have a favorite character, book or passage? Share it with us in words or pictures. Feel free to use any medium you’d like, just don’t alter the work of others. When full, please return to Jenny Stafford, jfit.

When I’m sixty-four.

This Spring I shall stop being 64 and become 65, a few months later Mark will have his 64th birthday.
This journal is about hopes, ambitions, wishes, aspirations, and the perceptions of age. Please don’t take too long about making your entries, history is not on my side, the women in my family not having much life expectancy beyond my age, and Mark’s parents both also died early, although neither Mark nor I have any plan to lie down quietly and accept old age!
Please enjoy this journal. Use the pages as you wish, but leave the work of others unaltered please.
If the journal is sent promptly wherever requested there should be no problem with completing an entry and re-listing within two weeks.
If you find you can not do so please re-list, email me and I will arrange to return it to you point-free at a later date.
If it needs repair or extra pages added, contact me and send it back to me. I can rebind and add or repair as necessary. When it returns to me I will scan and upload images to the journal site, for all to see.

Seashells.

Beachcombing is so much fun! I’m such a beach bum – every time I go, I pick up a bag full of shells, stones and whatever other beach goodies I can find. Sometimes they’re whole and sometimes in pieces, but always beautiful! Share your beachcombing stories, favorite finds or good picking spots in this pretty shell calendar book! You can use any medium you’d like, just don’t alter the work of others. I’d also like the color pictures in the middle of the book to remain as they are. When full, please return to Jenny Stafford, jfit!

August – August for the people.

August is the eighth of a set of journals I am creating to celebrate the months of the year. These will be released month by month.
They are for anything to do with the month: why you like or dislike it, what it means to you, poems, books, artwork, music, songs, photographs, stories:- whatever you are inspired to do.
Put your entry wherever seems appropriate.
Rules:
Don’t alter anyone else’s work.
Keep for no more than two weeks.
Relist promptly.
Be willing to send anywhere it is requested.
When the journal is complete please reserve it for me and I will mooch it back. If pages start to come loose let me know please, and I can mooch it back and remake the book and repair as necessary.

Friends and photos.

This journal is all about friendship. It’s a small photo album with two sleeves on each page. One sleeve is for a photo and the other sleeve is for your story! Feel free to add any friend photo you’d like. Have fun, but don’t alter the entries of others. When full, please return to Jenny Stafford, jfit.

Dusk, sunset, gloaming.

This journal celebrates all aspects of sundown. It follows on from the first journal: “Dawn, daybreak, sunrise” and the second “Day: morning, mid-day, afternoon”. Poetry, prose, art work, photos, stories, memories, facts…
Please make your entry wherever you please, and in whatever form you like.
Please read my journaling guidelines in my bio, and be willing to comply with them.

Re-list and re-send promptly, where-ever it is requested.
Notify me so I can mooch it back if it is completed, needs repairs or needs extra pages added.

Mr. Men

This Mr. Men journal is created using an old Mr. Men Notebook, with illustrations on many pages by the Hargreaves. Please add your entries around the illustrations, and when it is full return it to Bella U.K. (id brella) for her and her daughter Maisie, who journal together.
Please keep the journal moving so that it returns to her completed before she has left school and started earning her living! ;-) Happy journaling.

Illustrated Nursery Rhymes.

This journal is for collecting nursery rhymes, and illustrations for them if possible. I am not much of an artist, so I have used a photo and stock pictures as illustrations, but whether you draw, paint, collage from magazine illustrations or use photos, it is nice if possible to illustrate your contribution(s). In case this is impossible I have included one or two illustrations of rhymes, scattered through the pages, which you could use.
Please keep to my journaling guidelines so that the journals circulate and do not get stuck for months due to people forgetting to relist, or delaying posting. If one keeps to 6 weeks from receiving the journal to sending out (plus any dead time in one’s inventory) it should reach half a dozen or more people each year – hardly rocket-speed!
When complete, or new pages or repairs are needed, please mail me and I will mooch it back. I can add pages and rebind as necessary. I shall also upload the entries to the journal site. Always relist so that the journal is trackable. If you want it to go point-free, return points rather than break the listing chain.
